As do all RP sites, we need rules so that people don’t power play and giant robots don’t run amuck in a fantasy-set plot. Rules will be strictly enforced, but there will be warnings. If you have any problems with the rules, please inform the admins. We are trying to make this as fun, happy, joyful, and dance-worthy as possible for all, from the most skilled poster to the newest of noobs.
1.) Allowed characters & time.
Unless you have been given permission from an admin.
Admins may also have a character that appears invincible, but that character is for administrative purposes (or for the benefit of a plot) only.Every two weeks will equal one month in game time. The month will be displayed underneath the head image. Your character will be aged by the specific month you have chosen for their Month of Birth.
2.) No god moding.
If you are caught god moding, the admin who is watching the board or sees this act will destroy your character in a way that will be horrible, nasty, and exact so that the character can never be played again. After that you will either be sent a warning or, if this problem comes up again, banned for a limited time. If it seems like it will continue to be a recurring problem, expect to be banned indefinitely.
The severity of the punishment depends upon how bad of an offense you make... Minor offenses may just get your character hurt, or cause a warning to be given.
3.) No power-play unless permission is given through a specific statement by the other person or persons involved in roleplay.
Depending on the extent of power-play happening, the penalties can vary. For small acts of power-play, the other character is allowed to do one form of power-play back, leaving the power-playing character in the other's hands, as in an eye for an eye. If it is a major act of power-play or it happens again, the penalties will range from warning to bans.
4.) No advanced technology invented after the story’s time.
This is based in a a time frame like the 40's. That means that there are guns, cars, radios and yes if need be secret decoder rings. If you have technology past that time, you must explain why to an admin. After hearing your explanation, it is their choice to enable that technology to be put into a post. If you do not obey this rule and do not listen to any warnings, your post will be deleted and you will have to make another that suits the rules...
5.) Post Length & Order
Posts must be at least 150 words long. We can understand if you are new to posting or if you have writers block. Tell us because we can help or give you some slack, but please... how can someone reply to your post if it is too small to reply to?
Please, to keep things neat, try to stick in a posting order. With only two people, you don't have to worry, but af for 3+, that's where it gets complicated.
He's an example of how the order should go. Poster one, Poster two, poster three, poster one, poster two, poster three; and so on. If another one joins, the order will be changed. Poser one, New poster, Poster two, Poster three, Poster one, new poster; and so on. This is just to keep things neat and less confusing.
6.) please no Adult posts. We do not want any extremely Graphic threads... as in erotic or extreme nudity on public places. if you need to so bad ether have the thread locked for you and who wanted to participate or get it the hell off my website or privately back and forth each other because i really don't want to deal with the problems these kinds of threads make.
7.) No cannon characters(from comic, books, manga, movies, books etc)
Please make your own characters. There is no point in playing someone from something else... if you wanted to do that you would go to the various sites that do that. If you did make one already, it will not be aloud to post and any posts from that character will be deleted.
Why do we do this, you may ask? By having a pre-made character that was created by a famous work, you must know that it is copyrighted... anything created by anyone, on the moment of its completion, is copyright by its creator. By using that character, or its image for that matter(unless you give credit to the creator or have been given permission by the creator), you are breaking the copyright law, and thus this site which you roleplay on will be in jeopardy of being deleted.
